At request of most members, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products
(CCCME) has decided to hold a meeting on economic situation of 1999 in Beijing on January 18th, 2000. The theme of
the meeting will be

----Analysis on International and Domestic Macro Economic Situation of 1999 and the prospect of 2000.
By speaker: Professor Liu Guoguang, a well-known economist and special adviser to China Academy of Social Science.
----Situation of the State Financial and Stock Market.
By speaker: Professor Liu Honglu, the former Chairman of China Security Supervision Committee.
----Economic globalization and China is facing with new situation in doing foreign trade.
By speaker: Mr. Long Yongtu, Vice Minister of MOFTEC and Chief Negotiator of China's access to WTO.
----China import and export of machinery and electronic products and China Chamber of
Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME).
By Speaker: Mme. Li Huifen, Chairman of CCCME.

In accordance with the Charter of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products
(CCCME), CCCME has made a decision to hold CCCME Fifth Session of the Third Council Meeting in Beijing from January 18th
to 20th, 2000. The content of the meeting will be

----Summing up of CCCME work in 1999 and CCCME work program of 2000.
----Finance report of CCCME.
----Some draft decisions need to be discussed and approved.
